Happy Easter Friends! I hope you are all having a great day with family and friends. Since it is a family day, I am just going to  do a super quick post about a little table I did today.

Picture
So, you might recognize this little black table from last weeks post. It sits on our porch next to the front door. I put it there to use as a plant table, however, it's really more of a post for our cat, Hemi. She begs us to go out, then sits on that table looking in the window of the front door. Really cat? Still trying to figure that one out! Cat psychology is beyond me.
The table was really dirty and just needed an update.  I've been saying for 2 years I was going to paint it. I FINALLY got around to it!
Last week I was over visiting Kammy's Korner. She posted on a little table she made over.  Hers turned out so cute!! If you have a few minutes you should head over to her site and check out what she's been up to. They are in the process of refurbishing an old mansion. I love seeing what she's up to!  Anyway,  it was just the push I needed to knock this one out. I used Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. I mixed 1/3 cup of Old White and 1/2 tsp of Florence. It made a really nice frosty aqua color that I loved!  For the stencil, I used ASCP Coco. The stencil is just a Martha Stewart one that I picked up at Michael's.

I am still debating if I'm going to put this back out on the porch for a cat throne or keep it inside, haha!
Thanks for stopping by and visiting!  I hope you all have a really wonderful week!

Thank you, Karen! Paint is the best - if you don't like it, you can just paint over it with a different color!

Wow, you did a great job with that stencil! Looks like it was professionally done. I've never been great at stenciling but after seeing this I think I will give it another try. Thanks for sharing at Inspiration Thursday! Have a great week!
